i bought mine because it looked cool.

I bought my DS because before it I had a GameBoy, GB Colour, GBA and GBA SP. So i just went with the flow really.

Since then I'm glad I did though as I know have bout 45 games for it, and it's the only thing I ever do apart from play Football and read. No sleep for me.

I got my DS for free... but i wanted one because of Animal Crossing and generally the decent amount of online games.

i got mine because i had a game boy, a color, an advance and a sp before it so just got to replace them. i prob. would have got it anyways cus i've had most of nintendos consoles. the only ones i haven't had are the virtual boy, 64DD and panasonic Q. (i had a NES but never played it cus i was less than a yer old)

well i bought my ds because i liked nintendo

i thout it looked cool because it had 2 screens so wen my birthday came on the 30th July I got all my money together from that day and bought it

I liked Nintendo, so I asked for one for Christmas.
...I was told I wasn't getting one. Then, on the great day, it was in a clothes box.

ummmmmmmmmmm yeh odd well my wii came in a plant box my brother broak our wii so wii was told we wernt getting one one magnificent day it came in a plant box

I got mine about 2 years ago now, Like hiroko's it was a little odd (was hidden in a package with some girly pygamas, I was not amused although my sole reason for getting it was nintendogs, but it's proven to be so much more since then (and nintendogs hasnt)

I have all the old consoles from nintendo, and it looked like fun, and i knew pokemon was coming out on it, which has always been my favourite game.

hmm i got it cos i love nintendo the r ftw

also because i have had every other handheld consol by nintendo from my time

i so wanted nintendogs i had it a day b4 i scrapped it tho cos it was ****

and i got it on release day as always since my birthday was befor release i saved money from den i did same wid da wii

I got mine on launch Day, because Nintendo is a quality console maker I can trust, and because i love Sonic the hedgehog, Zelda, Super Mario and Pokemon, and much more.

..... <<that was me when i saw the DS!! LIKE OMG, IT'S GOT TWO BLOODY SCREENS!! that kinda done it for me...

(oh and the fact that i wanted a nintendog!! )

They looked really cool, and had a bunch of cool games for it.
