Manaphy Uber?

Okay... I'll just get straight to the arguments in this poll.


For being uber:

Manaphy is a legendaary pokemon with unfairly high stats against anyone who dose not have one and it has a high ammount of strong water and ice moves in its movepool. It's unfair that just because some people have more money and put a bit more patience into getting Manaphy that they should get to use it without opponents being able to object to its use.


Against being uber:

Manaphy is an extremely hard pokemon to actually get: First you have to fork out £30 for a new copy of pokemon ranger then you have to complete story mode AND 4 extra missions THEN you have to get a special code and complete ANOTHER mission to get the egg. Then you have to get a friend to help you transfer the egg over to diamond or pearl. After all that it is unfair that you can't use Manaphy in battle tower and even more unfair that you can't use it HERE.

Manaphy for no being uber-too predicable moveset (rest/rain dance on walls/stallers versions,tail glow on atackers and ice beam/grass knot/surf on most),most other waters,high spec defs and calm minders with a decent spec def can wall it well,tyranitar or anything else using a weather effect messes it up,also what GC said.

In a word. No.

YES, ummm its hard to get other ubers, manaphy is quite strong too, and manaphy is already uber

You can't say cause it's cost £30 for the game it's uber...

The fact it's hard to get isn't really much.the main point is it isn't as strong as you might think.A good STAB thunderbolt or energy can OHKO or knock 70-80 damage off it's health.Non-STAB can still 2HKO.And manaphy's,like jirichi(which i don't think is uber,will have to check),have quite predicable movesets and move items,making them easier to counter.

Manaphy isn't mega strong.It either sweeps off the bat and gets KO'ed quick,Tail glows and sweeps (were is the only real chance were it's a major theat as tail glow backed surf and ice beam hurt a lot) or is rain-resting.Either one of the lot,it's still quite an easy poke to KO.

For example,take a battle between a lanturn and a manaphy.If the manaphy is rain-resting it'll take up to 11-12 (if it rests every turn with krogye's drizzle in play) turns at max to take out with lanturn's thunderbolt (dealing around 70% damage each time),while a tail glow manaphy would only take 2 turns to be taken out,only getting one attack in.

When you take into account that lanturn is only UU and it can own manaphy quite easy,it shows how it can be quite weak.

Not uber, it's not powerful enough to say, a Mew or Arceus.

no to be honest its moveset is too predictable

not uber it can't learn every tm like mew and its got the same base stats as selibii shaymin and jirachi and its very similar so not uber for me
